Drought to spread from south to east-central areas in Brazil in March -climate impact

RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL - The drought, which has hit the southern region of Brazil the hardest, will now spread to areas in east-central Brazil, according to the Climate Impact Company, a partner company of AgResource Brazil. The weather pattern will change significantly in March, according to the updated weather forecast.

Next month, weather in South America is expected to become "dramatically drier." AgResource points out that the forecast has changed significantly, as last month it was expected that parts of the Southeast and Midwest would remain wet.
