Brazil sets historical record with more than US$1.21 billion in fruit exports in 2021

RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL - Brazil reached an all-time record in fruit exports in 2021, according to the data presented in Boletim Hortigranjeiro 2022, released by the National Supply Company (Conab), an agency under the Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Supply (Mapa).

Brazilian fruit exports were higher during the year in volume and revenue. Revenues exceeded US$ 1.21 billion, 20.39% higher than in December 2020. The total volume of fresh fruit sent abroad was 1.24 million tons, 18.13% higher than in the same period last year.
