Brazil: Rio’s bus services decide to go on strike for an indefinite period of time

RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL - Bus users will have difficulties moving around Rio City on March 29. On March 28, the Union of Road Transport Workers of Rio de Janeiro approved a drivers and conductors' strike with an indefinite duration. The strike started at midnight on Tuesday, March 29. Because of the strike, the city government advises people to work remotely or avoid using other transportations in the city during peak hours.
