Brazil receives about 35 million liters of Russian diesel and expects new supplies

Brazil has imported some 35 million liters of diesel from Russia and expects new supplies in October, according to Minister of Mines and Energy Adolfo Sachsida.

On July 27, the CEO of UpTime Brasil, an importer in the southern Brazilian state of Santa Catarina, told Sputnik news agency that his country would import 25,000 tons of diesel from Russia every month.

Foreign Minister Carlos França confirmed that the government will try to import as much diesel as possible from Russia, which he described as a reliable supplier.
