I had access to data that, in the pre-pandemic period, out of every 100 searches on Google, only ten were for nature tourism. […] Today, out of every 100 searches, 54 are for nature tourism.
I ask you, which country has the most incredible biodiversity on the planet, has six biomes, and has no tsunami, hurricane, earthquake, or natural disaster? We are a real competitor, and this bothers a lot of people. A lot of people want to take us out of the market using this environmental deceit”, he affirmed, citing the criticism made to the government for environmental issues.
