Brazil government revises GDP growth forecast for 2022 from 2.0% to 2.7

The Ministry of Economy has raised the country's gross domestic product (GDP) growth in 2022 from 2.0% to 2.7%.

GDP is the sum of all goods produced by a country in a given period. If the forecast is confirmed, the economy will have turned over R$9.7 (US$1.9) trillion by the end of the year.

The change is due to the increase in employment, the performance of the services sector, and the increase in the investment rate.
