In an interview with the Metrópoles website released on Wednesday (Dec. 7), Senator Flávio Bolsonaro (PL, right) said that an attempted military coup in Brazil "was never cogitated."
"There was never this talk of a [military] coup. A coup was never cogitated. Many in Brasilia were trying to protect themselves from something that never existed," said the parliamentarian.
"Bolsonaro has always acted and will always act within the Federal Constitution," added the son of President Jair . . .
