Why we show this: prediction markets turn real-money bets into a live probability that moves within minutes of the news, which is why investors, campaigns and newsrooms in the United States now follow them closely. We show them next to polls and official results, never instead of them.

A rapper’s debut album turns ten, and its tour ends in Brazil’s most famous stadium. Tickets for the Rio finale are on sale now.

BK’ closes his Castelos & Ruínas 10 Anos tour at the Maracanã in Rio de Janeiro on Saturday, 16 January 2027. Eventim, the official seller, lists the show with gates at 4:30 p.m. and a 7:30 p.m. start.

For US fans, that start is 5:30 p.m. Eastern, and full-price seats begin at about US$29. Visitors from the United States need a Brazilian visa, which can be requested online before travel.

Who BK’ Is and Why This Show Matters

BK’ is a Brazilian rapper whose first album, Castelos & Ruínas, came out in March 2016. The anniversary tour celebrates that record with arena and stadium shows in six Brazilian cities.

The tour opened at Nubank Parque in São Paulo on Saturday, 19 September 2026. Rolling Stone Brasil’s review described a debut album turned into a full stadium production.

The magazine says the Rio date should make BK’ the first Brazilian rapper to headline a solo show at the Maracanã. The stadium is better known as the home ground of Flamengo and Fluminense.

The anniversary has also brought awards attention this year. His film 10 anos de Castelos & Ruínas is nominated for Best Short Form Music Video at the 2026 Latin Grammys.

The Latin Recording Academy holds the ceremony on Thursday, 12 November 2026, at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas. Rosalía is among the other nominees in his category, with her video for “Sauvignon Blanc.”

Rolling Stone Brasil reported that a limited commemorative vinyl edition of the album sold out in under four hours. Eventim still listed the Rio stadium show as available on Wednesday, 14 October.

The Rest of the Tour

Before Rio, the tour plays Porto Alegre on Saturday, 24 October, and Salvador on Thursday, 19 November. It then visits Belo Horizonte on Saturday, 28 November, and Curitiba on Saturday, 19 December.

The regional site Tribuna do Sertão named 30e, 11MM and Gigantes as the producers behind the tour. The Maracanã show is the last date on the itinerary that Eventim has published.

Tickets and Prices

Eventim is the only official seller, online and at the Nilton Santos (Engenhão) stadium box office. An Itaú bank presale opened on Friday, 7 August, and general sale began on Monday, 10 August.

Eventim lists the following full prices for the Rio show. Amounts are in Brazilian reais, converted at BRL 5.02 per US dollar, the open.er-api.com rate of 14 October 2026.

  • Upper stand, Level 5 and South: BRL 145 (about US$29)
  • Upper stand, East: BRL 195 (about US$39)
  • Floor (Pista) or Lower South stand: BRL 245 (about US$49)
  • Lower East and West stands: BRL 295 (about US$59)
  • Pista Premium Itaú Personnalité: BRL 395 (about US$79)
  • Maracanã Mais Oeste: BRL 415 (about US$83)

Two VIP packages add extras to a Pista Premium ticket. The Itaú Personnalité package costs BRL 795 (about US$158), and the Super Fã package with a meet-and-greet costs BRL 1,395 (about US$278).

Each purchase allows up to six tickets, of which at most two can be half-price. Half-price tickets, called meia-entrada, are for groups set by Brazilian law, such as students, who must show proof at entry.

Buy only through Eventim’s website or the official box office. Tickets offered on social media or by street sellers outside the stadium may be fake.

The Venue and How to Get There

The Maracanã stands in the North Zone of Rio de Janeiro, a few kilometres west of downtown. Eventim gives the show entrance as Avenida Presidente Castelo Branco, Gate 3.

Maracanã station on metro Line 2 sits beside the stadium, and visitors staying in Copacabana or Ipanema can reach it by metro. Check the metro’s closing time for that Saturday before you travel.

The State Department advises using rideshare apps with traceable trips, or marked taxis called by hotel staff. It also tells visitors to wait for their ride in a secure area.

Registered taxis in Brazil carry red licence plates, the department notes, which helps fans spot an official cab. Agree on a meeting point with friends before the show, as tens of thousands leave together.

January is high summer in Rio de Janeiro, with hot, humid days and frequent evening storms. Water, sun protection and a light rain layer help at an open-air stadium.

Tips for US and Foreign Visitors

US citizens need a visa to enter Brazil for any purpose, the State Department says. Applications go through Brazil’s official e-visa system or a Brazilian consulate, and approval must come before departure.

The department rates Brazil at Level 2, Exercise Increased Caution, with Do Not Travel warnings for some areas, including favelas. It says violent crime, including armed robbery, can happen day or night.

The department warns that drink-tampering scams are common in Rio de Janeiro, sometimes arranged through dating apps. Do not accept drinks from strangers, and avoid walking on beaches after dark.

It also advises against municipal buses, especially at night, and tells its own staff not to use them. The metro or a booked ride is the safer way back from the stadium.

Mid-January falls in the Brazilian summer holidays, when flights and hotels in Rio fill early. Booking travel soon after buying a ticket avoids the steepest seasonal prices.

What It Means for You

For a US fan, the Rio finale is a rare solo stadium show by a Brazilian rapper, with seats from about US$29. A Saturday date in the Rio summer also makes a long weekend easy to plan.

Brazil does not use daylight saving time, so Rio runs two hours ahead of US Eastern in January. Expats in Rio de Janeiro should plan the ride home before the show, as crowds leave at once.

What Is Not Known

Eventim has not published opening acts or guest artists for the Rio show. The set length and the number of tickets left in each section are also not public.

It is not confirmed whether the Maracanã show will be filmed or streamed. No second Rio date has been announced.

What Comes Next

The Latin Grammy ceremony on Thursday, 12 November, decides the music video category in which BK’ is nominated. The tour then moves through Salvador, Belo Horizonte and Curitiba before the Rio finale.

Any change to the start time, gates or entrance would be announced through Eventim. Ticket holders should check their account and email in the week before the show.
