Alupar Investimento S.A. (B3: ALUP11) has made a significant move in Brazil’s energy sector. The company acquired Rialma Transmissora de Energia IV S.A. for R$175.4 million, expanding its transmission network in Bahia.

The deal, executed through Alupar’s subsidiary ETAP, involves purchasing all of Rialma IV’s shares. The final price will adjust based on working capital and debt changes. Rialma IV’s existing R$94.9 million debt with Banco do Nordeste will affect the final equity value.

Rialma IV operates two transmission lines in Bahia, spanning 162 kilometers. These assets generate a Permitted Annual Revenue of R$20.6 million for the 2024-2025 cycle.
