Wednesday’s Rio Nightlife Pick – Tonight is the first show of the band Hidden Falls, which features bar-master Sandra Mendes on vocals, Brenda Sayuri on guitar, Miguel Afonso on guitar, Flavio Chokito on bass and Henry Alqualo on drums.
The band rocks everything from indie and alternative rock, to a dash of pop, noise, music and even film. Directly after the show, the gang plans to celebrate the birthday of bar-master, drink maker and lead singer Sandra Mendes. DJ Vinicius Leal will take over the musical duties during the post party festivities.
Solar Botafogo is a unique space situated in the heart of Botafogo. The venue is a mix of both restaurant, bar and event space, used for shows, theater and dance events. The place is versatile, with a menu that offers more than forty labels of beer, plus delicious finger foods and more. The decor is quite original, sporting half a VW bug plus more memorabilia.

The gang from Bem Brasil are starting up a new Wednesday night at the ever famous Fosfobox club in Copacabana. The night will feature a mix-up of hip hop upstairs and house downstairs, featuring DJs Haron Dufau and Dymytryus. Arrive early for two hours of free caipirinhas.
