The quiz events are fashioned after Irish and English pub and bar social events and feature teams of two to six players competing to answer the most questions about Brazilian and International general knowledge.
It will be a great night of fun and socializing with two hours of forty bilingual questions and the winning team earning a round of free drinks.
Additionally, promotions during the night will include three tacos for R$15 and entry is only R$5.

Food Truck Festival (Barra da Tijuca)
The Food Truck Festival returns today for its fourth edition. Running through Sunday, May 31st at Village Mall in Barra da Tijuca, the festival features twenty food trucks and vendors selling a wide variety of food, drinks, wines and beers.

Quiz Night Rio (Copacabana)
Quiz Night Rio is back at Blue Agave in Copacabana tonight with more bilingual trivia questions and fun. Promotions during the night will include three tacos for R$15.

The weekly Feel Leblon party returns to Sette Leblon bar and lounge tonight. Promotions include all you can drink caipirinhas until midnight and two for one beers for R$15 all night long. The Bem Brasil party is back at 00 (Zero Zero) tonight with DJs JR Mahr and Haron Dufau spinning the best of Latin rhythms, reggaeton, cumbia, kuduro, and hip hop. Promotions include free caipirinhas from 11PM until midnight. This weekly party is always a great opportunity to mix and mingle with visitors to the city, locals and expats in one of the chicest venues in Rio.

Késia Estácio (Lapa)
Tonight singer Késia Estácio returns to perform live at Carioca da Gema in Lapa. Citing influences including Elis Regina, Djavan, and Chico Buarque, among others, the singer will perform the best of MPB, samba, soul and pop tonight.

Language Exchange – Lapa Irish Pub (Lapa)
Tonight at Lapa Irish Pub, it’s time again for the Portuguese/English Language Exchange. Set up like speed dating, native English speakers will be paired with native Portuguese speaker at tables. The pairs will then speak English for five minutes followed by Portuguese for five minutes. After those ten minutes, each speaker will move on to a new table and conversation partner. It’s both a fun and educational night and the R$10 entrance cost includes free food. Helo Tenorio & Convida Trio will perform the best of jazz live following the Language Exchange tonight.

This American-owned restaurant and bar on Copacabana Beach is a great place for food, drinks and entertainment. Every night, Tony Boka is performing live from 8PM until midnight. Boka is known for his varied repertoire that always pleases the crowd.

With classic pub games like darts and pool, Ipanema’s Shenanigan’s is always a great spot to visit. Happy Hour is dose dupla (two for one) on Mondays through Fridays 6PM-8PM. Additionally, tacos are half-price on Tuesdays. This is another great place to watch live streaming sports.
