Performing tonight to close out the 2014 BMW Jazz Festival at Vivo Rio will be Grammy Awarding-winning saxophonist Kenny Garrett and his quintet; innovative Brooklyn-based jazz fusion band Snarky Puppy and American Ahmad Jamal, former pianist for jazz legend Miles Davis.

Animal Hospital (Botafogo)
Tonight at Comuna in Botafogo, American musician Kevin Emil Micka, under the stage name Animal Hospital, will perform his experimental works that layer acoustic, electronic and vocal elements to create hypnotic soundscapes. His works pull from influences ranging from the genres of classical to jazz to ambient to indie rock. DJ Nuno will spin before and after the show.
