Known for their dance-oriented songs including, “Hearts on Fire“, “Lights & Music“, and “Free Your Mind“, the group has released four studio albums and consists of founder, DJ and vocalist Dan Whitford, guitarist Tim Hoey, bassist Ben Browning and drummer Mitchell Scott.
Usina, the venue Cut/Copy will take over tonight, is an up-and-coming nightclub in the Rio scene. Located in the neighborhood of Saúde, in the Port Zone of Rio near Pedra do Sal, Usina opened earlier this year in the space formerly occupied by popular Rio club, The Week.
There will be a Nas Internas party following the Cut/Copy show with DJs Tucho and Nepal and DJs from the popular Putzbrilha events spinning to keep the party going well into the night.

It’s time for pop and indie hits with the Wake Up event at the Fosfobox club in Copacabana tonight. DJs Beto Artista and Fl3sh Disco will wake up the ears in the basement with VJ Juju providing the visual stimulation. Up above at the Fosfobar, DJs Talita Delmonte, Larissa Busch, Olivia Angelini, Marie and Nuta will continue to enliven the aural receptors with more indie and pop hits.

Rockaway #28 (Botafogo)
Tonight Botafogo’s Casa da Martiz hosts the twenty-eighth edition of the Rockaway event. DJs Polly, Grazzia and Ivy will spin indie rock, classic rock, grunge, metal, punk and pop-rock, while DJ Arlei Hey Hey will spin the best of the 80s and MPB. Guest DJ Luiz G-Vô will also bring some new wave, glam metal and post-punk to the party. Caipirinhas and Caipivodkas will be double dose (two for one) for R$11 all night long with Cuba Libres, Hi-Fis and Mate-me Por Favors double dose until 1AM.

Singer-songwriter Thiagu Gentil gets things started again tonight at 8PM with samba and bossa nova at Centro’s Rio Scenarium. Singer Dhi Ribeiro will follow at 11PM with romantic samba and samba rock. Then at 3AM, the Trio Pé de Serra will deliver some of the best live forró in Rio.
