Best known for their songs “Lucretia, My Reflection”, “Temple of Love”, and “This Corrosion”, the group has released three studio albums in their almost four-decade long run.
The band, which now consists of only one original member, singer-songwriter Andrew Eldritch and guitarists Chris Catalyst and Ben Christo plus Doktor Avalanche, a drum machine/sampler/synth device, is known to perform new songs along with their well-known hits during live performances.

Tonight Cabaret Lounge in Botafogo will host Samba do Humaitá with Juliano Moreira and DDP Diretoria performing a roda de samba. DJ Haron Dufau will also spin the best of house, hip hop, pop, sertanejo, and more during the night.

Roda de Samba with Ballet 2 Passistas (Football) (Lapa)
Sundays are all about samba at Lapa’s Leviano bar. Every week beginning at 5PM the venue hosts a roda de samba with the group Face a Face playing classics of the genre, including works by Arlindo Cruz, Zeca Pagodinho and João Nogueira, among others. Additionally, DJ Mukato spins during show intervals.

It’s time to dance as singer-songwriter Rogê returns for his weekly show at Lapa’s Carioca de Gema. The lively performer will present his own compositions as well as covers of works by Jorge, Djavan, and Jorge Benjor, among others.
