An extension of the São Paulo party, Gay Nerd, the Gaymer Party arrives in Rio with cosplay contests, milkshakes, and game championships. Expect Mario Bros, Pokemon, Donkey Kong, Metroid, Legend of Zelda, Mega Man, Kirby, Banjo and Kazooie, Star Fox and more.
Additionally, DJs Bout, Millah Bass, Fabiano Moreira and Rhadamanto will spin the best of games themes, pop, pop rock, and mashups in the subsolo (basement) while the games and contests take place at the fosfobar above.

Fear Factory (Lapa)
American industrial metal band Fear Factory will perform live at Teatro Odisséia in Lapa tonight. The group is currently toruing in support of the 20th anniversary of their album, Demanufacture. The band Marrero will open the night.

The You Only Live Once party is back at Casa da Matriz with a special holiday editon. Roda de Samba and Football with Ballet 2 Passistas (Football) (Lapa)
Sundays are all about samba and soccer at Lapa’s Leviano bar. Every week beginning at 5PM the venue plays live games on their screens with samba dancers following the matches and the group Ballet 2 playing classics of the genre, including works by Arlindo Cruz, Zeca Pagodinho and João Nogueira, among others. It’s time to dance as singer-songwriter Rogê returns for his weekly show at Lapa’s Carioca de Gema.
