Roda de Samba and Football with Ballet 2 Passistas (Football) (Lapa)
Sundays are all about samba and soccer at Lapa’s Leviano bar. Every week beginning at 5PM the venue plays live games on their screens with samba dancers following the matches and the group Samba Di Buteco playing classics of the genre, including works by Arlindo Cruz, Zeca Pagodinho and João Nogueira, among others. It’s time to dance as vocalist and guitarist Marcos Novatto starts the night at Carioca da Gema at 9PM. The lively performer will present his own compositions as well as covers of works by Jorge, Djavan, and Jorge Benjor, among others.
