Monday Blues @ Smoke Lounge (Saúde) – Beat the Monday Blues at the Smoke Lounge with Charles Zanol Trio, who will be playing an exciting set of country rock, classic rock from the fifties and sixties, and blues.
While there, enjoy an excellent range of beers, tobacco, and more.
This live session will begin at 7 PM. The Smoke Lounge charges R$10 for the live music.

Earlybird Jazz @ The Maze (Catete) – Come see the second happening of a new weekly event at bohemian jazz club The Maze, accompanied by plenty of authentic Indian curry and caipirinhas.
Earlybird Jazz will see The Maze’s house band (Wolfram Goebel, tenor sax; Lennart Goebel, hammond organ; and Mário Lencina, drums and percussion) play a set which will then be followed by an open mic evening, for any budding jazz singers or instrumentalists out there.
Entry is R$20 and the night starts at 7:30 PM.

Samba da Gávea @ Da Casa da Táta (Gávea) – Want to see some traditional Brazilian samba? Head to Da Casa da Táta in Gávea for a night of songs around the table, how samba should be, full of the magic of improvisation and fun!
There are fifty places available and the cost is R$30. The evening starts at 8 PM and they advise you to get there early! As they start on time, and the place is not big. After that, you can only get in if someone leaves.

Run by a British expat, Winehouse boasts an eclectic range of wines both local and international. There is also a great selection of nibbles and cheese boards. For those who aren’t too keen on wine, there are plenty of beer and cocktail options, too. Happy hour begins at 5 PM and ends at 8 PM.
