Orquestra Voadora is known for fanfare and for mixing rock, funk, pop, and jazz with samba and maracatu, while New Kids on the Bloco are known for their reinterpretations of pop, including works made famous by Backstreet Boys, Britney Spears, ‘N Sync, Bruno Mars, Katy Perry, and Ariana Grande, among others.
Additionally, during the event tonight, DJs Cix, Rapha Fernandes, Larissa Busch, Andrei Y, Martha Pinel, Duvivier, Thiagp Burgos, and Gabriel Mattos will spin and the Coletivo de Artistas de Circo will perform.

Festival Rc4 with Joby Burgess (Ipanema)
British percussionist, Joby Burgess will perform live tonight at Oi Futuro Ipanema as part of the ongoing Rc4 Festival. Burgess is a member of the multimedia collective Powerplant and is known for his symphonic, contemporary percussion performances accompanied projected scripted visuals. He has previously worked with Ensemble, New Noise, and Uncharted and has toured with Peter Gabriel.

Tonight Cordão do Bola Preta will host the 17th edition of the Festa Bacaníssima. It will be a special classic funk edition and there will be a live performance by MC Marcinho. Expect the best of hip hop, funk, pop, samba, Brazilian rock, and more.

Pub Crawl Lapa Loca (Lapa)
Tonight it’s time again for the Pub Crawl Lapa Loca. The meeting point to begin the crawl is at Rua Mem de Sá, 55 from 10:30 PM to 11PM. There will then be an open bar from 11:10 PM to 12:10 AM at Bar da Cachaça. Then from 12:20 AM to 1AM there will be free entry at the next location and one free shot of tequila or caipirinha. The crawl will then arrive at 1:20 AM at its final stop at Bar da Boa for the Lapa Loca party. Entry to that party will be free and pub crawlers will receive one free caipirinha.

It’s time for the best of pop and zombies as Fosfobox in Copacabana hosts the Walkers edition of the Fun party tonight. Welcome shots of the “T-Virus Anidote” will be distributed to the first fifty to arrive and brain cupcakes will be distributed throughout the night. There will be a zombie makeup stand and a zombie costume contest with R$50 awarded to the winner. Additionally, zombie movies will be screened throughout the night. The Fosfobar will be home to the Umbrella Lab during the night with the makeup stand open from 12AM to 2AM. It’s time again for Lapafest at Leviano bar tonight.
