Friday’s Rio Nightlife Pick – It’s Christmas night and in many venues in Rio tonight, that means it’s time to celebrate.
At Espaço Acústica in Centro, there will be a very special Christmas edition of the Wonka Party.
There will be rabanada with Nutella, special brigadeiros, Oreo milkshakes with vodka, Christmas cookies, glasses of champagne, chocolates and brownies.
DJs Nathalia Hinz, Rick Castro, Dave Avigdor, G Sotero, and Felipe Malfoy will spin the best of hip hop and funk and DJs Bruno Ambrozi, Thiago Burgos, and Vitor Dill will spin the best of indie and pop punk during the night.

Tonight Casa da Matriz in Botafogo will host a special Christmas edition of the Paranoid Andriod party. There will be welcome shots, alcoholic popsicles, jelly beans, and special promotions. DJs Buba, Bgolls Incrível, Bøechat, Fabitch, and Dí Andrade will spin the best of indie rock, alternative, and indie pop on the first floor and the best of pop and hits on the second floor during the night.

Teatro Odisséia will host a Christmas edition of the Potter party tonight. The venuse will be decorated and there will be themed drinks and a costume contest. Gabriel Versiani will start the night tonight at Rio Scenarium at 8PM with a performance of his original works and his reinterpretations of works by Tom Jobim, Chico Buarque, Paulo Cesar Pinheiro, and Jorge Benjor. Lu Fogaça and Trio will follow at 8:30PM and Samba na Véia will perform the best of 60s and 70s samba, samba-rock, sambalanço and contemporary samba beginning at 11PM. Then beginning at 2:30AM, Trio Aba de Couro will perform the best of forró live until sunrise on Saturday morning.
