Rio de Janeiro is unanimous: the capital of Rio de Janeiro is the most popular destination for foreigners and Brazilians to enjoy the Carnival, revealed a survey of the Booking.com platform.

The survey indicated the cities with the most accommodation reservations made until February 7 for the Carnival period – between February 18 and 22, 2023.

The second and third places are also the same in the preference of those who live in Brazil or abroad: it is the carnivals of São Paulo and Florianópolis that occupy, respectively, these privileged positions for their schedule of celebrations, whether with allegories, street blocks or seaside tranquility.
