Panama Sets New Export Records in 2023

From January to July 2023, Panama achieved a seven-month export high, amassing $2.36 billion in revenue.

A significant portion, $1.65 billion, came from copper exports.

Compared to the same period in 2022, overall exports have surged by 10.7%, indicating vibrant economic growth across various sectors.

Eric Dormoi from the Ministry of Commerce and Industries (MICI) highlighted that each sector witnessed positive growth rates.
