External market boosts the stock market in Brazil

The Ibovespa closed this Wednesday, the 25th, at a high. It is the second trading session in the week with the appreciation of the main indicator of the Brazilian Stock Exchange (B3).

According to the Infomoney website, today’s quotation closed at just over 114,000 points.

“There is a foreign flow. The Bank of America spoke well of Brazil and the call for emerging turned consensus among the houses,” explained Matheus Spiess, an analyst at Empiricus Research.

“In a Chinese opening, with a positive tone for commodities, Brazil is a winner,” he continues.

According to Spiess, the “fiscal and political noises on local assets” gave way to the “dilution of risks, which brings down premiums in the yield curve and the dollar’s fall against the real.”

Also on Wednesday, the real gained value against the dollar.

The quotation of the North American currency fell a little more than 2%, to R$5.08. It is the third fall in a row.

In addition, in the stock market, Americanas‘ papers appreciated again.

Listed on the stock exchange, the company filed the largest petition for judicial reorganization ever presented in the history of Brazil, after announcing a R$20 billion cash deficit, and today presented the list of its creditors.

So far, the company’s debts total about R$40 billion.
