Colombian pop singer Camilo plays the Jardín de la Cerveza in Arequipa, southern Peru’s “White City”, on Sunday 8 November 2026. The Camilo Arequipa concert opens his two Peru dates, with official tickets from about US$40 to US$144.
For US visitors, it pairs a big pop night with a historic centre on UNESCO’s World Heritage List since 2000. The show falls on a Sunday, so it fits a week that also takes in Colca Canyon, Cusco or Lima.
Who Is Camilo and Why This Show Matters
Camilo Echeverry, known simply as Camilo, is a Colombian singer whose hits include “Tutu” with Pedro Capó, “Vida de Rico” and “Favorito”. He is married to Venezuelan singer Evaluna Montaner, and they have two daughters, Índigo and Amaranto, Ecuador’s El Comercio reports.
His fifth album, “Para Cuando Sean Mayores” (For When They Are Older), came out on 9 September 2026 on Sony Music. El Comercio says the 13 songs were written as a guide for his daughters, whose voices appear on two tracks.
The tour carries the album’s name and plays Miami’s Kaseya Center on Friday 9 October, moved from 18 April, says the arena. Ecuador’s Vistazo magazine reported that Quito and Cuenca follow on 9 and 10 April 2027.
Peru gets two dates, both organised by Bizarro Entertainment y Servicios Perú, according to the Teleticket event page. Peru’s Diario Correo confirmed both dates in August, and América TV reported in May that sales would open on 6 May.

The Venue and How to Get There
The Jardín de la Cerveza is a concert space inside the Campo Ferial Cerro Juli, a fairground run by the Arequipa regional government. Teleticket also lists Kapo there on 5 December and Sin Bandera on 4 March 2027.
Visitors who fly in land at Alfredo Rodríguez Ballón International Airport in the Cerro Colorado district, run by Aeropuertos Andinos del Perú. The operator says more than 80 taxi drivers from three associations wait in the main hall.
For the concert, book a taxi or ride-hailing car to Cerro Juli and agree on a pick-up point. Teleticket puts the show at about two hours, so a 7 p.m. start would end near 9 p.m.
The venue does not allow re-entry, so bring what you need for the whole evening. Late entry after the time printed on the ticket is subject to the organiser’s and venue’s rules, the seller says.
Tickets and Prices in US Dollars
Teleticket is the official seller, and its event page sets a limit of six tickets per customer. Prices include the service fee, and e-tickets can be downloaded from two days before the show.
Full prices are S/494.50 (about US$144) for numbered Platinum seats and S/460 (about US$134) for numbered VIP seats. Bleacher seats in Tribunas Gradería cost S/345 (about US$100), and General Stand Up costs S/138 (about US$40).
Wheelchair spaces cost S/460 (about US$134). Buyers with Peruvian disability accreditation pay S/285 (about US$83) for Tribunas or S/114 (about US$33) for General.
Dollar values use 3.44 soles per US dollar on 9 October 2026, so a US card charge can differ. Teleticket’s rules ban resale, which makes Camilo Arequipa tickets from other websites a risk.
Tips for US and Foreign Visitors
The US State Department says American tourists need no visa for stays of less than 90 days. Passports need six months of validity and one blank page, and border officials set the length of stay on arrival.
The State Department rates Peru at Level 2, “Exercise Increased Caution”, and warns that crime is common in the country. Arequipa is not among the areas it lists under “Do Not Travel”.
The State Department also lists Arequipa among Peru’s high-altitude cities, alongside Cusco and Puno. Take the first day slowly, drink water and go easy on alcohol before a long evening on your feet.
Peru stays on UTC-5 all year, and the United States leaves daylight saving time on 1 November. A 7 p.m. start in Arequipa is therefore 7 p.m. in New York.
Pay for taxis in soles and carry small notes, and keep phones out of sight in the crowds outside the venue. Children under six are not admitted, and a minor must sit or stand with a paying adult in the same sector.
Make a Trip of It
Arequipa was founded in 1540 and is called the White City for its white volcanic sillar stone, says PromPerú, the tourism board. The Misti volcano rises over the city, and the Yanahuara and San Lázaro neighbourhoods have lookouts with views of it.
PromPerú also points visitors to Colca Canyon, a few hours from the city, where Andean condors can be seen in flight. Local dishes to try include ocopa arequipeña and solterito de queso, a fresh salad of fava beans, corn, cheese and olives.
The airport operator says the historic centre holds more than 500 mansions finished in sillar. UNESCO describes the centre as a blend of European and native building techniques, seen in its walls, archways, vaults and Baroque facades.
What It Means for You
If you are already in southern Peru, the Camilo Arequipa show fits a route through Cusco, Colca Canyon or Lake Titicaca. General Stand Up at about US$40 is the budget option, while bleacher seats cost about US$100.
If you are based on the coast, the alternative is the Lima show on Tuesday 10 November at Multiespacio Costa 21. Teleticket lists it from S/126.50 (about US$37) to S/494.50 (about US$144), with a possible 8 p.m. start.
What Is Not Known
Teleticket has not published a door-opening time, and no support act has been announced. It is also not known how many tickets remain in each sector.
The venue’s paperwork is a second open question. Correo reported on 4 June that Cerro Juli could not host mass events after its building safety certificate was cancelled on 19 May.
For a concert on 24 May, provincial inspectors checked the site two days earlier and issued a separate event approval, Correo reported. Whether the building certificate has since been renewed has not been published, although Teleticket keeps selling shows there into 2027.
The Arequipa news site El Búho reported in May that a regional councillor sought an investigation into how the fairground is run. No change to the Camilo date in Arequipa has been announced by the organiser or the seller.
What Comes Next
E-tickets for Arequipa can be downloaded from Friday 6 November, two days before the show, according to Teleticket. Camilo then plays Lima on Tuesday 10 November, and El Comercio reports that the tour ends in Mexico in February 2027.
