Italy's National Cyber Security Agency (ACN) warned on Sunday (5) that thousands of servers worldwide suffered a hacker ransomware attack, Reuters news agency reported.
According to ACN Director General Roberto Baldoni, the attack sought to exploit a software vulnerability and happened on a large scale.
