RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL - The governor of São Paulo, João Doria, said yesterday that the state would not prescribe the use of hydroxychloroquine for patients with mild Covid-19 symptoms if the measure is established by the federal government.
In a press conference held yesterday at the Bandeirantes Palace, the governor said the state would not accept a prescription by decree.
"I want you don't prescribe by decree. São Paulo will not accept a prescription by decree. Nowhere in the world is health treated by decree or a political measure," he said.
