RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL - The Brazilian Space Agency plays a major regional role because it offers a range of activities related to space transportation, satellites, research and applications.
"The cooperation with Amazon Web Services opens new avenues for start-ups in Brazil that focus on space exploration and seek access to cutting-edge computing tools," Brazil's Ambassador to Washington Nestor Forster Jr. said Thursday.
The cooperation focuses on long-term economic and technological development that will benefit "the Brazilian government, Brazilian commercial space organizations and space-focused startups," AWS said in a blog post released Thursday.
