Anitta became the first Brazilian artist to win the MTV VMA (Video Music Awards). The singer received the award in the category of a best Latin music video with the hit "Envolver."
The award ceremony was held on Sunday (29) at the Prudential Center in New Jersey, USA.
In her victory speech, Anitta said she did not expect to win, referring to her origins and that this was the first time Brazil was on the podium.
