RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL - Pride! Peru received the title of best culinary destination in the world in 2021 at the World Travel Awards (World Travel Awards in Spanish). The Ministry of Foreign Trade and Tourism (Mincetur) and the Commission for the Promotion of Peru for Export and Tourism (Promperu) also reported that Machu Picchu won the world's leading tourist attraction and Peru's best cultural destination.
Mincetur stressed how important it is to recognize and value these great triumphs in the tourism and gastronomy sectors, as they promote the culture and beauty of Peru's destinations.
