Argentina reaches a record 60 million tons of grain exports

RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL - Despite the difficulties imposed by the level of the Paraná River and the productive setback suffered by some of the main crops during the last campaign, Argentina shipped, from all its port terminals, grains for 60.66 million tons in 2021, 7% more than everything shipped in 2020 and reaching an all-time record by surpassing the 2019 mark (60.3 Mt were shipped then).

Broken down by grain type, Corn shipments totaled 38.4 Mt, more than 2 Mt higher than what was shipped during 2020 (+6%) and thus reaching the highest volume in history . . .
