RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL - A new naval base to provide logistical support to ships, the deployment of uniformed personnel, the development of a new radarization plan and the opening of new air routes with state aircraft.
All this is part of the new plan to strengthen the military presence in the South Atlantic that Defense Minister Jorge Taiana has imposed on the armed forces as of today.
