On Monday, a group of Guinean police officers stormed the premises of the private radio station Galaxia de Pindjiguiti in Bissau to seek "satisfaction" over a published article, sources from the station and the journalists' union said today.
According to the information, a journalist at the station had written a report expressing suspicions about a case related to drug trafficking in Guinea-Bissau, allegedly involving members of the Police Public Order Command (POP).
Following the article's publication, a group of plainclothes police officers searched the station's premises on Monday evening and in the early morning hours in search . . .
