Construction confidence in Brazil reaches highest level since January 2014

RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL - The Construction Confidence Index (ICST) of the Getulio Vargas Foundation (FGV) increased by 4.8 points in April this year compared to March.

This brings the indicator to 97.7 points, the highest level since January 2014 (97.8 points). The ICST ranges from zero to 200 points.

The current situation index, which measures contractors' confidence in the present, rose 2.4 points to 94.4, the highest level since June 2014, when it reached 95.2.
