Brazil achieved better inflation figures than the OECD average for the first time this year

Average inflation in OECD (Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development) countries fell to 10.2% in the 12 months ending in July.

The index had been up 10.3% in the same period until the previous month. The organization released the report Tuesday, Sept. 6.
