Brazil sets new oil and gas production record

In October, the national production of oil and natural gas reached the highest volume ever recorded in Brazil.

Oil companies extracted 4.18 million barrels per day in the month, according to data from the ANP (National Agency of Petroleum, Natural Gas and Biofuels) released on Friday (November 18, 2022).

The country has only surpassed the 4 million barrel mark on two other occasions: in January 2021, when 4.04 million were extracted, and in September 2022, 4.05 million.
