Brazil: Ports of Paraná state record a new double record in throughput

RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL - February closed with two new records in port throughput in Paraná. Both in the first two months and monthly volume, the percentage increases exceeded expectations with 27% and 39%, respectively, compared to 2021.

"With more than 5 million tons handled in February and more than 9 million tons in the two months, we achieved the best handling of both periods in the ports of Paranaguá and Antonina," said the general manager of Portos do Paraná, Luiz Fernando Garcia.

In February, 5,076,757 tons of cargo were imported and exported through the terminals in the ports . . .
