These minerals are vital for renewable energy. Colombia’s Vice President talked about the need to change global finance.

She proposed a debt-swap plan to fund green commitments. The UAE will give US$4.5 billion for Africa’s energy transition.

A “Nairobi Declaration” is expected at the summit’s end. This document aims to unite Africa’s stance in upcoming global talks.
