A venue closure cut Robbie Williams’ first visit to Peru short in September. His second Lima night now has a new date, a new stadium and new seats on sale.

The Robbie Williams Lima concert called off in September has a new date and venue. The English singer plays Estadio San Marcos in Lima, Peru, on Saturday, 12 December 2026, at 9 p.m.

The show replaces his second Lima night of 24 September, cancelled after local authorities shut the original venue. Tickets for that night stay valid, according to Ticketmaster Perú, the official seller.

New seats in the stands went on general sale on Thursday, 8 October, from S/185 (about US$54) to S/585 (about US$170). The field zones are already marked sold out.

What Happened in September

Williams played the first of two planned nights at Arena 1 Park, in Lima’s San Miguel district, on Wednesday, 23 September. The next day the San Miguel municipality closed the venue temporarily, and the second night was called off.

“The venue has been closed because the evacuation protocols set by the municipality were not met,” municipal manager Jorge Román Saavedra said. He told RPP, a national radio and news network, that the organiser was responsible for evacuation inside and outside the venue.

Williams sang briefly for fans outside his hotel in Miraflores on 24 September, La República and El Comercio, two Lima dailies, reported. The promoter, One Entertainment, promised a new date and opened refunds through Ticketmaster on 25 September, RPP reported.

Indecopi, Peru’s consumer protection agency, opened a preliminary inquiry into One Entertainment and the other organising companies, RPP reported the same day. The agency could open a sanctions case if it finds breaches of Peru’s consumer code.

On Friday, 2 October, One Entertainment announced the new date at Estadio San Marcos on social media, RPP and El Comercio reported. On Tuesday, 6 October, One Entertainment released a video in which Williams invites Peruvian fans to buy tickets, RPP said.

Why the Lima Date Matters

Ticketmaster’s event page presents the Lima shows as Williams’ debut in Peru. It promises songs from his new album, Britpop, alongside hits such as Angels, Feel and Let Me Entertain You.

The same page says his biopic, Better Man, was seen by more than 100,000 people in Peru. Lima joins Buenos Aires and Mexico City as Latin American cities where fans see him more than once, it adds.

Robbie Williams Lima Tickets and Prices

Ticketmaster Perú lists the show for Saturday, 12 December, at 9 p.m., at Estadio San Marcos on Avenida Germán Amézaga. It sells tickets only online and at its own service points.

A presale for Interbank cardholders ran on 6 and 7 October, and general sale opened on Thursday, 8 October, El Comercio reported. Ticketmaster’s price chart shows these regular prices, with its commission included:

  • Occidente Central (centre of the west stand): S/585 (about US$170).
  • Occidente 1 (west stand): S/545 (about US$159).
  • Occidente 2 (west stand) and Oriente (east stand): S/371 (about US$108).
  • Norte (north stand): S/185 (about US$54).

The field zones, called Platinium, VIP and General, are marked sold out on the chart. Only the stands are still listed with prices.

Buyers can take up to six tickets each, and children aged five and over need their own ticket. Ticketmaster recommends the show for adults, and children must sit with an adult in the same section.

Wheelchair spaces are in Occidente 2 and Oriente. Collecting printed tickets costs an extra S/20 (about US$6) per order, from Monday, 12 October, with the buyer’s ID.

Ticketmaster names the event organiser as Two Times Production SAC, while the announcements came from One Entertainment. RPP lists sales points in Wong supermarkets in San Borja and Miraflores, at Plaza San Miguel and in Plaza Norte.

If You Hold a September Ticket

Tickets bought for 24 September remain valid for 12 December at Estadio San Marcos, Ticketmaster says. RPP reported that holders need to do nothing to keep their place.

Anyone who cannot attend the new date can ask for a refund through the Ticketmaster website, according to RPP and El Comercio. El Comercio said Ticketmaster would return the full amount.

Under Law 32415, the organiser must pay a refund within 15 working days of the request, RPP reported. The Ticketmaster event page gives no last day for refund requests.

Estadio San Marcos and Getting There

Estadio San Marcos stands on the campus of the National University of San Marcos, in the Cercado de Lima district. Teleticket, another Peruvian ticket seller, lists several other large concerts there.

They include Argentine rock band Airbag on 14 November and Mexican band Maná on 2 December. Colombian singer Karol G is booked for 22 January 2027.

Many visitors stay in Miraflores, San Isidro or Barranco, south-east of the stadium. Allow extra time to arrive and to leave, as a large crowd will exit at the same time.

The State Department advises using an app-based taxi, ordering a taxi by phone or using a service linked to a major hotel. It warns of robberies in which criminals enter a taxi and force passengers to withdraw cash from ATMs.

At Lima’s airport, authorised taxi booths charge flat rates by destination, the department says. Thieves have smashed car windows in traffic on airport routes, so keep bags out of sight.

Entry Rules and Safety for US Visitors

US citizens need no visa for tourist stays of less than 90 days, according to the State Department. Passports must be valid for six months at entry and have one blank page for the stamp.

Border officials decide the length of stay on arrival, and overstays bring fines that must be paid before leaving. Keep your entry record, because travellers without one cannot leave until immigration confirms their arrival.

The State Department rates Peru Level 2, Exercise Increased Caution, in an advisory issued on 4 September 2026. It cites the risk of crime, unrest, kidnapping and terrorism.

Its Level 4, Do Not Travel, zones lie outside the capital, including the Colombian border area in the Amazon region of Loreto. The Apurímac, Ene and Mantaro river valleys and the cities of Abancay, Ayacucho, Huancavelica and Huancayo are also Level 4.

Pickpocketing, robbery and hotel-room theft are the most common crimes, the department says. Demonstrations occur regularly and can shut roads, trains and highways without warning, the advisory adds.

The US Embassy is on Avenida La Encalada, block 17, in the Surco district of Lima. Its number, including for emergencies, is +51 1 618-2000.

Costs in US Dollars

Conversions use 3.437 soles per US dollar, the banking-system selling rate published by the Central Reserve Bank of Peru for 6 October. Ticket prices already include Ticketmaster’s commission, so only the S/20 (about US$6) collection fee is extra.

Two north-stand seats cost S/370 (about US$108), almost exactly the price of one east-stand seat. A seat in the centre of the west stand costs more than three north-stand seats.

Peru’s currency is the sol. The State Department lists a cash limit of US$30,000 on entry and exit, and amounts over US$10,000 must be declared on arrival.

What It Means for You

If you hold a 24 September ticket, keep it and watch for emails from Ticketmaster; you do not need to rebook. If you cannot travel on 12 December, request a refund early, since no deadline has been published.

New buyers should use only Ticketmaster Perú, which says it is not responsible for tickets bought outside its system. Only stand seats are still listed for sale, from about US$54.

Plan the ride home before the show, using an app-based or hotel taxi as the State Department advises. Leave passports and valuables at your hotel and carry only what you need.

What Is Not Known

Ticketmaster has not published a doors-opening time or named any opening act. It also does not say whether September buyers keep their original zones on the field.

No last day for refund requests has been published, and Indecopi has not announced the result of its preliminary inquiry. The event page does not say whether cards issued outside Peru are accepted.

What Comes Next

Printed tickets can be collected from Monday, 12 October, and the concert starts at 9 p.m. on Saturday, 12 December. The new date does not end Indecopi’s inquiry into the September cancellation.
