Saturday’s Rio Nightlife Pick – It’s time once again for the very best of rap, r&b, and bass as the High as Sh!t party returns to the Fosfobox club in Copacabana tonight.

During the night. DJs Doug Def, Fernando Henri, Paula Queiroz, Kennyᐱ, and Tago Oli will spin on two floors.

Additionally, StreetburguerZ will offer food throughout the night and the guys from I Hate Flash will take pictures throughout the party.

Braza (Lapa)
Tonight the Brazilian band Braza will perform live at Circo Voador in Lapa. Additionally, Monkey Jhayam will perform to open and Calbugue will play from the stage during the night. Braza consists of Forfun band members Nícolas Christ, Danilo Cutrim, and Vitor Isensee.

Zeca Baleiro will launch his new album, Era Domingo, live at Fundição Progresso tonight. Cícero Rosa Lins will perform to open the night.

Tonight the CAVE club in Arpoador will host the FLOOR party. DJs Ju de Paulla, Bruna Strait, Thiago Araujo, Daddy Kall, Leandro Bueno, and Daniel Carvalho will spin and there will be drag performances by Carmen Laveau, Amber Ives, Aretha Sadick, Natasha Fierce, Chloe Van Damme, and Sasha Fierce.

The Babylon and Wallpaper parties return to The Week in Saúde tonight. DJs Edu Quintas, Alex Acosta, Mauro Mozart, and Leandro Becker will spin on the Babylon stage and DJs Felipe Mar, Rebecca Foxx, Babi, Giordanna Forte with Suzy Brasil will spin on the Wallpaper stage during the night.

We Love RJ! (Copacabana)
The New Mariuzinn Copacabana will host the We Love RJ! party again tonight. As always, there will also be a four-hour open bar from 11PM to 3AM with Smirnoff Vodka, tropical drinks, caipirinhas, Sex on the Beach, Blue Lagoon, Antarctica beer, mineral water, and sodas. Additionally, there will be shots of tequila. Promotions will include two-for-one specials on beer, caipirinhas, various drinks, and Chandon until 3AM. DJs Guga Fernandes and DLuccio will spin the best of house, hip hop, reggaeton, cumbia, funk and deep house throughout the night.

Sertanejo na Lagoa with Flávio and Ney (Lagoa)
The posh venue Miroir in Lagoa will host the weekly Sertanejo na Lagoa party with Flávio and Ney performing live tonight. Additionally, DJ Luciano Roffer will spin the best of house and hip hop before the show and DJ Ronaldo of Radio FM O Dia will spin after. Caipirinhas will be free until 12AM for women and there will be promotions on Heineken for all throughout the night.

Anderson Vaz will start off the night tonight at Carioca da Gema in Lapa. Singer-songwriter and instrumentalist Claudinho Guimarães will follow. Guimarães released his first album entitled, A Luz do Criador in 2009 and is well known for his lively performances.

Located in the heart of the Ipanema neighborhood, Bar 48 (Quarenta e Oito) is one of the hottest new bars in the city. This American-owned restaurant and bar on Copacabana Beach is a great place for food, drinks and entertainment. Additionally, Tony Boka will be playing at Mab’s Mondays through Saturdays from 6PM to 10PM. Boka is known for his varied repertoire that always pleases the crowd.

Blue Agave Ipanema (Ipanema)
Blue Agave Ipanema is always a great place for Mexican food, drinks and for watching live sport streams and broadcasts. Just around the corner from Posto 9, the bar is also known for its mostly English-speaking staff and the mostly English-speaking crowd which frequents the establishment. Be sure to check out Blue Agave in Copacabana also for a great night out.
