This marks the company’s 14th issuance, rated “AAA (bra)” by Fitch Ratings. The debentures, unsecured and issued in a single series, have a seven-year term.
They will be amortized in two consecutive installments in the sixth and seventh years. The funds raised will be allocated for various purposes.
These include general expenses, settling short- and long-term debts, investments, and managing the company’s cash flow.
The debentures will pay semi-annual interest, corresponding to 100% of the CDI per year, plus a surcharge of 0.65% per year.
