International Mediation Sought in Guinea-Bissau’s Constitutional Crisis

In December 2023, President Umaro Sissoco Embaló of Guinea-Bissau dissolved the National People’s Assembly.

Additionally, these parties have called on the Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS) to refocus its military efforts in the country.
