Operational metrics remained robust despite profit challenges. Adjusted EBITDA grew 12.3% to R$1,242.3 million ($207 million) with margin improving to 73.1%. Adjusted net revenue increased 10.2% to R$1,699.7 million ($283.3 million) during the quarter.
Traffic volume fueled growth throughout 2024, particularly heavy vehicles which rose 9.1% in the third quarter. Light vehicle traffic grew only 1.6% during the same period, reflecting varied economic activity patterns across Brazil.
Strategic toll adjustments boosted revenue performance across key concessions. The company implemented a 3.98% tariff increase for Ecovias do Araguaia in October and 3.51% for Ecovias do Cerrado in November.
Highway concessions, the company’s core business, generated R$1,764.5 million ($294.1 million) in Q4 revenue. This contributed to annual revenue of R$6,685.8 million ($1,114.3 million), increasing 20.4% from 2023.
Full-year adjusted EBITDA reached R$4,697.3 million ($782.9 million), a 21.6% increase. Cost efficiency improved with cash costs to revenue ratio decreasing to 27.5% from 28.7% in 2023.
EcoRodovias plans to distribute R$214.7 million ($35.8 million) in mandatory dividends pending approval at their April 2025 shareholders meeting.
