Tech visionary Elon Musk has unveiled xAI, a newly established artificial intelligence company focused on gaining a deeper understanding of the universe.
Musk, known for his involvement in various successful ventures including Tesla and SpaceX, will personally lead the project.
The team consists of approximately ten talented individuals with previous experience at reputable organizations such as DeepMind, OpenAI, Google Research, Microsoft Research, and Tesla.
In recent months, Musk has expressed concerns about the potential risks associated with artificial intelligence.
In March, he joined forces with fellow entrepreneurs and researchers in calling for a temporary halt on the development of systems that surpass the capabilities of GPT-4, OpenAI’s latest model.
