Avianca and Bolivian airline announce cooperation agreement

Colombian airline Avianca and Boliviana de Aviación (BOA) have announced an interline agreement allowing customers to fly direct connecting flights on both carriers beginning Sept. 1.

The alliance, the companies said in a statement, will allow travelers to fly to and from seven Bolivian cities on a single ticket, pay a single fare from the point of departure to the destination in a single transaction, and check their baggage to the destination.

They will also have access to Avianca's 125 routes in 24 countries in Latin America and Europe.
