RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL – According to journalist Kennedy Alencar of CBN Radio, the Civil Police of Rio de Janeiro are allegedly working on a new hypothesis about the death of Councilwoman Marielle Franco that would involve the son of the president.
The police see a close link between Carlos and Ronnie Lessa, who is charged with the shots that killed Marielle and the driver Anderson Gomes. The new hypothesis is treated with caution but appears after 616 days of investigation.
“Carlos Bolsonaro and Marielle Franco had a strong public discussion in the city council and the councilman refused to enter the elevator if the councilwoman was inside. There was a clear climate of hostility between the two”, points out the journalist.
The councilman erased his accounts on social networks about a week before the release of this new line of investigation by the Civil Police.
