Paraguay closed 2021 with 6.8% inflation

RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL - Inflation in December 2021 stood at 0%, as measured by the Consumer Price Index (CPI) variation, lower than the 0.6% recorded in the same month last year. With this result, inflation for 2021 amounts to 6.8%, above the 2.2% recorded in 2020.

The stability of consumer prices throughout the month of December 2021 was marked by price increases in a number of foods, durable goods and services in the basket, on the one hand, as well as by price drops such as fuel and home repair items.
