Nicaragua plans to import more wheat from Russia, as it is a product that is within the basic needs and exempt from sanctions, Finance and Public Credit Minister Ivan Acosta told Sputnik.
"We hope to continue maintaining trade channels and, in addition, to increase wheat imports. Right now, we are already importing the first purchase of 2023; it is already in Managua," Acosta stated.
