According to media reports from Italy, former Flamengo 2019 defender Pablo Marí, currently under contract with Monza, was stabbed while shopping in a mall in Italy.
The attacker was identified as a mentally ill man and was arrested at the scene.
In addition to the Spanish defender, five other people at the scene were also stabbed.
According to the portal O GLOBO, the player's manager reassured everyone and informed them that the athlete's health condition was not severe and that he was fully conscious.
