Venezuelan President Nicolás Maduro declared tonight that his country is betting on the reactivation of cooperation mechanisms between the peoples and governments of Africa and South America within the framework of building new international relations of cooperation and peace.
"Now, with the arrival of (Luiz Inácio) Lula da Silva, sooner rather than later, the moment will have to come when we reactivate the mechanisms of summits between Africa and South America", said the president from the Miraflores Palace, the seat of the Government.
