Colombia: A confrontation between FARC dissidents produced the murder of 18 people in Putumayo

At least 18 people were killed during a confrontation between two antagonistic groups of the Revolutionary Armed Forces of Colombia (FARC) dissidents, reported the Ombudsman's Office.

In the department of Putumayo, municipality of Puerto Guzmán, almost 700 kilometers south of Bogotá, there was a confrontation between the self-styled group Comandos de la Frontera and the Carolina Ramírez front, the agency announced in a statement.
