Mateus Magala, the new Mozambican Minister of Transport and Communications, spoke to journalists in Abu Dhabi on the sidelines of a four-day visit that Mozambican President Filipe Nyusi has been making since Sunday to the UAE.
"Businessmen from the United Arab Emirates have a huge interest in investing in various areas in Mozambique because they have a large surplus" in terms of liquidity, said Magala.
He continued that infrastructures, namely ports and airports, are areas with the potential for attracting investment from business people from that Asian country.
